ARCA is aimed at creating a Register of qualified Auditors in Africa in various fields and through partnership with the African NSBs, offer standardized examinations to enhance the competence of personnel dealing in standards, metrology, quality and conformity assessment in Africa.
The auditors may be drawn from various aspects including those working in the private and public sectors and regulatory bodies dealing with matters such as Health, Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary (SPS) bodies.
The African Register of Certified Auditors (ARCA) is particularly important as a means of offering African experts opportunities to be called upon to carry out duties in Africa where they may be in close proximity with the clients requiring their services. In this stage of African integration where trade in services is being considered as a fundamental aspect, ARSO would like to appeal to all experts to register in order to benefit from the market opportunities which are likely to be opened up.
