ARSO DISNET is information Networks of Documentation and Information Systems on standards, technical regulations and related activities in Africa. That was initiated in fulfillment of ARSO programs.
ARSO DISNET web portal is here to provide African countries and stakeholders with information they need to fully benefit from the export and import opportunities that exist within African countries. http://trade.arso-disnet.org
ARSO-DISNET, will aid shape the flow of international trade by:
- promoting closer co-operation among African countries and ensure information flow
- contributing towards the transfer of technology for development;
- reducing technical barriers to trade; and
- promoting standardization and related activities and implementation of standards.
Hence the Network, already developed will provide global knowledge on trade related issues and ways in which to facilitate free flow of goods due to availability of information thus creating information-driven society.
