The African Organisation for Standardisation (ARSO) is proud to announce the official admission of the Central African Republic (CAR) into the ARSO fraternity.
This strategic addition underscores the growing continental momentum toward standardizing quality infrastructure, eliminating technical barriers to trade, and accelerating the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
By joining ARSO, the Central African Republic aligns with Member States across the continent in setting high-quality benchmarks, facilitating seamless cross-border trade, and ensuring consumer safety and sustainability across African industries.
Strengthening Continental Integration
Speaking on the occasion, the leadership of ARSO expressed immense pride in welcoming CAR to the fold, highlighting that unity in standardization is essential for economic resilience and industrial growth across Central Africa and the entire continent.
With CAR’s membership, ARSO continues to expand its reach and strengthen its mandate: harmonizing national and regional standards to promote “Made in Africa” products globally.
We warmly welcome the Central African Republic to the ARSO fraternity and look forward to a fruitful collaboration in advancing quality and standardization across Africa.
