Enterprise Singapore is the government agency championing enterprise development. It is a statutory board operating under the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) of the Singapore government. As Singapore’s national standards body, Enterprise Singapore appoints the industry-led Singapore Standards Council to develop, promote and review national standards. ARSO’s warm invitation and hospitality at this year’s General Assembly have reinforced Enterprise Singapore’s commitment to deepening partnerships between Africa and Singapore, and the agency looks forward to building on this momentum with ARSO and its members.

Enterprise Singapore’s Director-General, Ms Choy Sauw Kook, also shared perspectives on Singapore’s National Quality Infrastructure at the capacity-building workshop organised with Singapore Cooperation Enterprise. The session covered Singapore’s food safety ecosystem, including the role of standards and regulations in food safety and cold chain management.
